Concert at Tatsfield Village Hall at 7.30 pm on Saturday 13 September 2008
The choir sings a wide range of music including hymns, spirituals, operatic items, film and show music as well as folk and pop. Some Welsh pieces are always included in their concert programme, which usually consists of 18 to 20 pieces in all, with two solo spots. The current repertoire includes items as diverse as “Myfanwy”, “The Soldier’s Chorus” and two pieces from “Les Miserables”. This year “Love is all around” and “Nessun Dorma” have been added.
The concert at Tatsfield will be the first by the choir in this area and it will also be the first time a male voice choir has performed in the village. We can be certain that those lucky enough to be present will enjoy an evening of stirring and beautiful music.
