NEW 595 BUS SERVICES TO OXTED AND WESTERHAM

You may well have noticed unfamiliar Southdown buses in the village – running on route 595 which commenced on 29th August.  This marks the return of regular services connecting us with Oxted and Westerham on every day except Sundays.

Departures to Westerham are at 0943, 1143, 1343 and 1813.  The 595 leaves Westerham for Tatsfield at 1003, 1203, 1403 and 1933.

Departures to Oxted are at 1012, 1212, 1412, and 1942.  The 595 leaves Oxted for Tatsfield at 0933, 1133, 1333 and 1803.

On Saturday there are extra journeys from Tatsfield to Westerham at 1543 and to Oxted at 1612.  There are extra Saturday journeys to Tatsfield from Westerham at 1603 and from Oxted at 1533.

The existing 411 service to Warlingham, Caterham and Godstone continues to run three times a day on Mondays to Fridays.  However, the Buses4U service to Oxted on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays has now stopped as it has been made redundant by the new 595 service.

A NEW WEEKLY BUS SERVICE

TO BLUEWATER

 

The new Southdown 733 bus service to Bluewater Shopping Centre  runs on Tuesdays, leaving Westerham at 9.52 (from the green) or 9.55 (Hartley Road) and returning from Bluewater at 13.15.  The connecting 595 buses from Tatsfield are the bus leaving Tatsfield at 9.43 to Westerham and  then, on return,  the bus leaving Westerham (14.00 from Hartley Road and 14.03 from the Green) arriving back in Tatsfield at 14.12.

 

This service has already been used by a villager who has said how well the connecting times worked.
