Tickets are now available at Sheree's Stores, or by phoning 01959 577659, for the next North Downs Sinfonia concert, on Saturday November 12, 7.30pm, at the Village Hall. The orchestra will be playing Mozart - Marriage of Figaro Overture, Haydn - Symphony 99, and the stupendous Beethoven Violin Concerto, with the amazing Haru Ushigusa as soloist. The concert is a tribute to Francis Griffin, one of our regular conductors, who sadly died last year. Haru was his favourite violinist, and the other pieces were amongst his favourites as well.
